Shake it out – that tumor, those fears with Florence & The Machine

This tumor business is tough: physically debilitating, emotionally draining. I often need a pick-me-up, a kick-in-the-pants or something that gives me hope.  Florence and The Machine’s song entitled “Shake it out” does that for me. For me, “Shake it out” is more than a song, it’s an anthem. An anthem I can use to fight my fears and worries and that stupid tumor in my head.
