This blog is all about how I how used humor to remain sane while dealing with the insanity of a brain tumor the size of my wife’s fist. Why blog? To help other folks cope with serious health issues/brain tumors/cancer and give anybody wading through the muck of rehabilitation some hope or at least a chuckle or two. It will include a vaguely chronological story, books reviews, presentations to rehab patients, etc.

The Power of Words – Part 2
Airhead No, my brain was only exposed to air for a wee bit
Boneheaded Yes, it's mostly bone but my implant is made of high quality
polymenthyl methacrylate - very similar to a bowling ball
Brain cramp Occasionally, but really…who doesn't every once in a while?
Brain damaged Yes, but not as bad as it could have been
Fathead I had some swelling, but that's gone
Hole-in-your-head Yes, for a few months…but the cranioplasty fixed that
Knucklehead See bonehead
Mind games Yes. Personally, I prefer Lumosity
Numbskull For the operation (who wouldn't?), but now just in spots
