healtheo360.com Brain Cancer Stories

I often find that reading other brain tumor victim’s stories helpful. Their stories help me feel that I’m not the only one whacked by this terrible disease, and that there is camaraderie among victims.

Usually, I read about these stories on blogs, in books and occasionally in newspapers or magazines.  But this time, I found healtheo360.com – www.healtheo360.com – which includes patient videos and a whole lot more.

According to the site, “The healtheo360 community includes patients, their caregivers, family members and friends who come to share their personal healing stories so that others may find inspiration and motivation as they go through the journey of living with their condition. Members share their health related stories and learn from each other through discussion. We encourage you to upload your story via video testimonies but we also offer blogging for those who are more comfortable with that method of sharing. At healtheo360 we believe in the healing power of storytelling and how beneficial it is to share your story as well as to learn from other people with similar experiences.”

Importantly, there is an entire section on brain cancer victim videos that I found riveting: http://www.healtheo360.com/stories-list.php?condition=84

Right now there is a story from a Grade 4 Glioblastoma victim which is wonderfully honest.

Lastly, there is a whole series of support groups, from leukemia to prostate cancer to breast cancer.
